Price: $1,200 for private instruction. Each additional person in a private group is $900. Does not include hotel fees, if necessary.

The PADI Open Water Diver course is your gateway to discovering the incredible underwater world. As the most popular scuba diving certification in the world, this course will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to dive confidently and safely.

Course Structure:

  1. Knowledge Development: Begin with PADI eLearning to learn about scuba diving principles, safety procedures, and underwater terminology. This flexible online component allows you to study at your own pace, fitting seamlessly into your schedule. Expect to spend 5-10 hours on this initial phase.

  2. Confined Water Dives: With your highly-trained PADI instructor, you’ll practice basic scuba skills in a pool or a pool-like environment. These sessions help build your confidence and ensure you are comfortable using your scuba gear. You’ll practice “mini dives” to simulate real dive conditions in a controlled setting.

  3. Open Water Dives: Finally, apply what you’ve learned during four open water dives in the ocean, a lake, or another natural water body. These dives, guided by your instructor, allow you to experience the real underwater world and refine your skills.
