Price: $1,200. Each additional person in a private group is $900. Does not include boat or hotel fees, if necessary. 
Duration: 2-3 days, depending on schedules

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to elevate your diving skills and enhance your underwater adventures. You don’t need to be “advanced” to take this course; it’s intended for anyone who wants to build on their existing skills and gain more confidence in the water.

Course Structure:

  1. Knowledge Development: Begin with PADI eLearning, which includes interactive lessons on 13 popular specialty dives such as deep diving, navigation, night diving, wreck diving, and more. This component allows you to study at your own pace, typically taking 6-8 hours.
  2. Adventure Dives: The course includes five open water dives: a deep dive below 18m/60ft, a navigation dive, and three specialty dives of your choosing. These dives help you gain experience, build confidence, and discover your diving abilities in various conditions and environments.

Course Highlights:

  • Explore Greater Depths: Learn to dive deeper, up to 30 metres/100 feet, and experience the unique challenges and thrills of deep diving.
  • Specialty Skills: Improve your underwater navigation, buoyancy control, and other essential diving skills. Choose from a range of specialty dives like Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, and Underwater Naturalist.
  • Flexible Learning: The eLearning component makes it easy to fit the course into your schedule, and the practical dives can be completed in 2-3 days with your instructor.

Requirements:

  • Prerequisites: You must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification).
  • Minimum Age: The minimum age to enroll is 12 years old.
  • Health: Complete a medical questionnaire to ensure you are fit for diving.
